Signs and Symptoms

  • Thoughts of death or suicide, or suicide attempts

  • Brain chemistry
  • Stress
  • Other factors similar to these may contribute to depression

Treatment

  • Talk with your doctor
  • The most common forms of treatment for depression are medication and psychotherapy
  • Keep trying to until you find something that works for you
